Gathering Again
We are currently gathering at Lach Dennis Village Hall in a COVID secure way. This requires booking prior to meeting and looking after one another by following the guidelines below.

The village hall is located on Holmes Chapel Road (B5082), where there is ample car parking available.

Online Booking

We are operating an online booking system and you can book up to 6 seats for people in your house. All the people on your booking must be permitted to sit together without social distancing. The booking system will be available until 11.59pm on the Wednesday evening. If you are unable to use the online system, please contact our administrator, Adele Bouckley, directly.

If you develop symptoms after booking please let us know so that someone else can take your seat.

What about children?

We would warmly welcome all ages to come along to our services and we hope you feel very at ease being with our church family. During the service, childrens ministry will be available for those aged 0 to 11. This will be coordinated in a COVID secure manner, and will involve lots of fun, games and crafts as we all learn about God together from the bible.

Due to the current circumstances children not yet at primary school will need to be accompanied by an adult. All children are encouraged to bring a bible, but all other resources will be provided.

Caring for each other

We all have a responsibility, as members of the family of God, to love and care for our brothers and sisters. One very practical way we can do this is to ensure that we keep one another safe from the Covid-19 virus. It is in this spirit that we ask you to observe the following measures:

On Sunday Morning

Please do not attend the service if you, or one or your household, has any of the following Covid-19 symptoms:
  • a new continuous cough,
  • a high temperature (above 37.8oC), and
  • a change in your senses of taste or smell.

Please do not attend the service if you have been asked to quarantine, either because of contact with someone with Covid-19, or have returned from a location requiring a period of quarantine.

Current government guidance states that worshippers must remain in groups of a maximum of 6 (a single household or extended household) and not mingle with other groups. That means maintaining a social distance of at least 2m from other groups. We would ask you to respect this at all times, both inside and outside the hall.

When you arrive please enter the village hall through the front door. Only one group at a time should be in the foyer. Please queue outside and wait for a member of the welcome team to invite you to enter.

Your temperature will be taken with a non-contact forehead thermometer when you arrive. We will keep a record of your attendance for 21 days and the information shared with NHS "Test, Track & Trace" if we are required to do so.
Face coverings should to be worn at all times inside the building unless you are in an exempt category.
Please use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter the building.
You will be directed to your seats where you should remain for the duration of the service.
Please bring your own Bible as church Bibles will not be available. Neither will there be an offering box.

If you require the toilet, these are located in the foyer. Please sanitize your hands before and after using the facilities.

If at any time during the service you feel unwell, please leave with your group immediately. If you subsequently receive a positive Covid-19 test, please inform our administrator, Adele Bouckley.

At the conclusion of the service you will be asked to exit through the door on the righthand side of the hall. In order to facilitate an orderly exit and reduce the risk of accidental mingling, you will be asked to vacate a row at a time starting from the front.
Once outside the building was ask that you to continue to respect the rule of not mingling with other groups.

If any of the above guidance is unclear, please contact Adele Bouckley or one of the elders.
